Eco-Logic’s Expectations Of Visiting Teachers/ Leaders

Our expectations of visiting teachers/ leaders are consistent with the Department of Education & Training’s Safety Guidelines for Education Outdoors 2020, as well as the Adventure Activity Standards (AAS).

Our general expectations:

Planning activities

• When booking an activity with Eco-Logic we will discuss your educational aims, participant’s clothing requirements, and ask you to provide medical information that may affect our activities

On-site/ during activities

• We expect teachers/ leaders to prepare students for the activity, and ensure that they are dressed appropriately for the activity and weather conditions
• We expect a teacher/ leader to be present with each group of participants to support our staff in the management of participants
