Eco-Logic operates it’s business within the Department of Education & Early Childhood Development’s Safety Guidelines for Education Outdoors 2008, as well as the Adventure Activity Standards 2006 (AAS) developed by the Outdoor Recreation Centre and Victorian Government.

Eco-Logic will ensure that our staff:

• are appropriately qualified and/ or experienced in the activity that they are leading
• conform to the required staff: client ratios
• carry a mobile phone and first aid kit for all activities
• demonstrate good sunsmart practices
• provide appropriate safety briefings prior to each activity
• will not discriminate against any client, and will encourage participation from everyone
• use equipment that is safe and well maintained
• are courteous of other users at our activity sites
• demonstrate best environmental practice, including minimum impact on the environment

Roles and Responsibilities of Eco-Logic Education & Environment Services
• To instruct all activities with the highest level of safety, skill, care and respect
• To provide appropriate equipment in good working condition
• To ensure that staff have current qualifications in First Aid, CPR, Working with Children & others as relevant
• To accommodate participants with all medical conditions and disabilities, as possible/ appropriate
