Hikes
The beautiful Surf Coast Walk and Great Otway National Park have plenty of great walking tracks that lead through heathlands, eucalypt forests, temperate rainforest, beaches, rivers and cliff tops. Come for some great coastal walking in 1 ½ hour to full day blocks. Learn about traditional bushfoods and medicine plants along the way. Discover Anglesea’s dramatic coal mine, look for signs and traces of native animals, discuss human impacts and land management, and talk about our Indigenous people’s connection to country.
Bush walks can be tailored to your group’s abilities, time frame, accommodation, and content requirements and may be used to link your other camp activities. Save money and resources by walking, instead of taking the bus!
